OVERVIEW
RINA Tech UK Ltd specialise in testing, inspection, certification and engineering solutions across a range of markets including marine, energy, real estate and space. 3-Space were delighted to have the opportunity to return to One Springfield Drive to design and build RINA’s new office and laboratory facilities in Leatherhead. This build was a substantial undertaking which involved the installation of a new power substation, the conversion of an underground car park to working laboratories and the office fit out to two floors.
The work was carried out during the pandemic and the Brexit transition period which brought challenges to the project however 3-Space were able to complete in a timely manner resulting in a modern and functional space for RINA. A detailed consultancy exercise was undertaken with RINA to establish the requirements for the creation of the specialist laboratories and high-quality offices. The detailed design was co-ordinated and approved via the landlord team including infrastructure, enabling works and design of MEP services and gas installations.
