10 Years of 3-Space
3-Space was formed as an office design and build company in 2013 by Doug, Kathryn, Giles, and Tony. As four co-owners, they brought a depth of experience in overlapping professions which gelled well in the competitive office fit out market and they knew from their experience that there was a market for what 3-Space could offer.
From the start, the directors wanted to create a business that they would be proud off and when setting up the business they were very aware that without happy employees they wouldn’t have happy clients. It is this customer-centric philosophy that underpins everything that we currently do and is embedded in in our culture.
It has always been important to us to work collaboratively with our clients, our suppliers, and contractors, communicate regularly and openly, and operate on a basis of trust and respect and over the past decade, the 3-Space headcount has trebled which enables us to maintain the service levels we strive for.
Our success comes from the strength of our team. We’ve worked hard to find the right people with the right attitudes and skills, and they’ve worked hard in difficult times demonstrating a fierce loyalty to the company. This attitude, we believe, is what differentiates 3-Space from other fit-out companies.
Our growth and development over the past 10 years has been incredible and far beyond what the Directors envisaged. Consistent year on year growth, coupled with an increasing headcount is something they are very proud of.
Over the years, we have grown into a well-established D&B company, constantly innovating, and responding to changes in the industry and the world around us. It has been an exciting journey, and with the 10-year anniversary it seemed an excellent opportunity to make some changes.
Rebranding wasn’t a decision that was taken lightly; it was a strategic choice born out of an understanding of our market, our customers, and our own aspirations. It signifies our commitment to growth, innovation, and remaining at the forefront of our industry.
As part of the re-branding process, we didn’t just want to make things look pretty, we wanted to build our brand, inject some personality into our image and create a truly compelling logo.
We recognize the significance of design in shaping experiences, evoking emotions, and creating an atmosphere that resonates with our customers.
If we go back to the beginning of our process, the logo was initially inspired by angles that you might find in buildings or on design plans. We then evolved that idea with the typographic treatment and the additional spaces to the fonts. Spaces to reflect both our name and the work that we do.
The new identity was created to be something that looked clean and familiar, while also feeling premium and bespoke – just like the environments we produce.
It’s been an incredible journey so far, and a journey that simply wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all our amazing partners, clients, team members, contractors, and suppliers we have worked with over the years.
The first ten years have been a blast and we are excited to see where the next ten take us and we hope that you will continue the journey with us.
